MARIO KESSA

Mario Kessa is a Melbourne-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work is defined by creative independence. AMEB-certified in piano and music theory, Kessa brings a strong technical foundation to a sound shaped by intricate guitar work, bold synth design, and emotionally direct songwriting.

His early releases, including the Paradise EP (2020) and debut album Better View (2022), established a self-reliant creative approach that continues to shape his work. Writing, producing, recording, engineering, and mastering his own material, Kessa treats independence not as a limitation, but as a central part of his identity as an artist.

In October 2025, Kessa released his sophomore album Journeys, an 18-track project developed over three years. Featuring tracks such as “Nature,” “Change My Mind,” and “Changes,” the album brings together 90s-inspired R&B, modern pop production, live instrumentation, and expansive songwriting. Journeys marked a defining album statement, capturing the scope, discipline, and ambition of a fully self-made artist.

Now, Kessa opens a new chapter with “Out Of My Mind,” a self-written, self-produced, and self-engineered pop rock release that pushes his independent approach further. The accompanying music video, directed, edited, and colour graded by Kessa himself, expands his creative authorship beyond the music and signals the next evolution of his work.
